
The Dallas Tourism Public Improvement District is designed to significantly increase the funding available to market and provide incentives to enhance Dallas’ performance as a convention and tourism destination.
Since 2013, the Dallas TPID ha committed more than $19.4 million to events in the City of Dallas, generating $285 million in hotel revenue, for a total economic impact for the City of Dallas of $1.8 billion.
With the Dallas TPID’s ability to partner with local Dallas hotels and offer incentives, we were able to grow future room nights to 2.2 million at the end of 2019.
DTPID has awarded and paid more than $12 million directly to Dallas arts and cultural organizations since 2013. Since the program's inception, DTPID has supported a total of 763 arts and culture initiatives through the Event Marketing Fund, impacting 242 unique organizations and enriching the lives of both visitors and residents alike.
